PLEASE READ BEFORE POSTING:

This is the newest version of the Wind Nocturne (AKA Luna's Boat Song) from Lunar Silver Star Harmony. Now, it should be noted that this isn't exactly from the PSP version, but a splicing of the video from the PSX version and the audio from the newer one.

Now, we've been having a lot of problems with people getting overly zealous about the new lyrics. Yes, the lyrics are new. Yes they are closer to the Japanese lyrics. And yes, it's okay to discuss which ones are better in a civilized manner. Over spamming, crude, or rude comments will be deleted and you will be blocked.

  • WAHHHH THINGS ARE DIFFERENT MY NOSTALGIA IS THREATENED WAHHHHHHHH MOMMY HELP I DON'T LIKE WHEN THINGS CHANGE.

Grow the fuck up, you whiny little brats who don't even know anything about lyrics or music in the first place.

  • There's a really good explanation about why they decided to write the lyrics of SSSC not so similar to the japanese original lyrics. You can check it out here in youtube, the video is called "the making of lunar sssc part 4" and I think they made the right decision. :D

  • the girl in this video . look like serge some how ....

  • someone can share me lyrics of this song,it's so beautiful =.=

  • I guess it's nice that the lyrics are closer to the Japanese version. It's really hard to translate songs and retain meaning. The previous version was mixed much better though (the vocal levels are often too soft in this version) and the lyrics were better in the previous version as well, in Western songwriting terms. A lot of the lyrics in this version just don't work and sounds very translated. The odd rhythm and wordings stick out the most. It's not bad, though. It just isn't very good.

  • I love lyrics of this version better than the old one. Though both lyrics are great.

  • I think both versions are good. This one is closer to the Japanese lyrics and meaning, but the version from SSSC had a better rhythm and structure. I really don't think this version sounds that bad at all.

  • Listening to this reminds me why Victor Ireland and WD should have been the only company to touch Lunar. This is just my opinion but Lunar Silver Star Story was a poor update of Lunar: The Silver Star (a prime example is the opening song) and while it was still an amazing game, I didn't think it was nearly as good. I liked Lunar Eternal Blue Complete because it was almost a direct port of the Sega CD version (sans the dumb-downed difficultly level).

  • I definitely like the old lyrics better. Also the original actually rhymed, the new versions of both the opening song and wind's nocturne do not rhyme.

  • I'm just glad that they remade the game for newer generations, but in a way that the older generations can enjoy it too. I have all the games, even the GBA "remake" and I have to say, none of them have disappointed me. This is a great series. Better than FF or Grandia in my opinion.

  • I didn't play this when it was on the psx or sega cd but I find that both the ssh and ssc versions are amazing songs. Sure they don't sound the same but the feeling's the same. Thanks for posting them both!
