Chevrolet Camaro dragster, Big Boys Toys, 11 Nov 06

A '68 Camaro dragster (minus the hood and doors) revving it up at Big Boys Toys. I had to run for cover once the noise became too painful to bear, its too hard to plug your ears when you're holding a camera!

Yep! I notice the guys driving them wear ear protection, you'd get permanent hearing loss over time if you didn't!

Thanks! The mike on that camera can only capture really loud noises, so I'm glad it does that well, LOL!

@bad71495 They were going thru so many doors from them getting "blown off" they decided to just keep them off.... besides, the cost of hinges went up so high they cant afford to buy them anymore.... (i wonder why, lol )

yeah....I was sitting here thinking that same thing. It says in the NHRA Rulebook that any car being warmed up must be on jack stands....this guy is nuts. It's not likely anything will happen but at least if the car was knocked into gear while on stands it would not hurt anyone.
