This is a side-by-side comparison of Avatar with clips from Disney's Pocahontas. It helps illustrate that Avatar is really just: "Pocahontas in Space," or "Intergalactic Fern Gully."

Whether it is Avatar versus Pocahontas or Avatar vs Fern Gully, the fact remains, epic story line?

This side-by-side comparison was inspired by the Apple vs The Postal Service:

  • Disney just announced that they are opening an "Avatar" theme park at Animal Kingdom. They must have had no problem with James Cameron using the script of "Pocahontas" for "Avatar." I bet that for the "Avatar" sequels they will allow him to use the scripts of "Mulan" and "Tarzan."

  • Everything was uncannily the same, except the DNA and Avatar body part, lol. Of course.
