  • @FordGTGuy "... we do vote for representatives... " The definition of a representative democracy.

  • @Fuctmentality

"The United States shall guarantee to every State in this Union a Republican Form of Government, and shall protect each of them against Invasion; and on Application of the Legislature, or of the Executive (when the Legislature cannot be convened) against domestic Violence."

America is a republic, we do vote for representatives and the majority does not rule.

  • @FordGTGuy You Don't Capitialze "consitutional republic" Nor "democratic republic" & Yes We Are democratic republic, Last I Checked We Did Vote For Our Representatives. Which Makes Us A democratic republic, A Form Of representative democracy.

  • @Fuctmentality

America is a Constitutional Republic not a Democratic Republic.

  • Past Republics and the Constitution

  • @fuctmentality you do know that when you pledge allegiance to the flag you say it like this "I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America, and to the republic for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all." I'm sorry but I don't recall any one pledging allegiance to the democratic republic or any stupid title u came up with!!

  • roman republicanism will be revive my fellow americans

  • Sounds like a video by Anon :S

  • @unclearimage No it doesn't describe a specific person, place or thing, it describes a form of government, forms are general. That being said yeah you're right I just thought it was odd you chose to point out where I was right & say I was wrong about everything. Messed up thing is the person who told me that bit of misinformation was my high school civics teacher. Thank you for correcting me sir. We still do qualify as a democratic republic though.

  • @Fuctmentality So let me get this straight Republic isn't a proper noun even though it describes a specific person, place or thing. i.e. a form of government? Okay the American Republic then. So now you're re-writing not only American history but grammar as well.

You're right, when you were incorrectly raving about 49 states doing something you were right about one (Utah), I apologize- that means you don't know what you talking about with only 22 states instead of just one.
