The third of a series of videos recalling the life and career of actress Inger Stevens, this video is a compilation of photos and quotes of Ms. Stevens, taken from the span of her professional career. There are images from each of her motion pictures, as well as a few from her iconic television perfomances: Nan Adams, from "The Hitchhiker" episode of The Twilight Zone, Anna Beza from "The Price of Tomatoes", and of course, Katy Holstrum from "The Farmer's Daughter."
Inger's interest in mentally retarded children's affairs is also shown in the video.
As is the case with my previous two uploads, this video is soley a fan appreciation tribute to a talented actress and unique human being who deserves so much more recognition for her work over the years. There is nothing being solicted or sold, and no copyright infringement is intended. All images and media remain the property of the original authors and creators. Viewers are encouraged to seek out the original source material in all circumstances.
Originally I used "Cordelia's Theme' by Carly Commando as the background music, but have since replaced it with the same musical selection used in ssekelof's "A Little More Inger Stevens" video.
Luminous...intense....she was the female James Dean

@windstorm1000 "Intense"...that she was, in her own way. She would put so much into her roles, no matter how big or small...LIke Dean, there was so much talent there, who knows what heights might have been reached if they had lived just a short while longer? Thanks for commenting on the vid...

Inger is terrific and timeless. Thank for posting!
She should have made some money in Hollywood and got out to work in some capacity with handicapped children. That's what she really wanted to do, but was trapped by contracts.
According to a biography on Inger Stevens that I read, her favorite saying was, "Be careful what you wish for."

@kh2hbTV Thanks for commenting! Inger's talent, poise, and memory endures....I can't say for certain that she would have given up acting for some other career endeavor as she stated occasionally, but I'm sure she would have made the transition seamlessly and successfully. She continues to leave an impression on anyone who sees any of her performances even today, some forty years after her passing....What a unique individual!
