flight sims were the hallmark of 1990s pc gaming; lots of depth, numbers and planning to keep you busy for weeks
consoles just can't compete due to the controller and nature of fast-paced console games
this is actually a pc remake of the C-64 version (~1989)
sid meier and microprose ruled the pc world then

Lol the Fuel-Air missiles are actually retarded Bombs, should be dropped just above the objective flying at 500' 250 knots, the lock box helps you with the timming! Nice Job without manual though

@ocabj I run it with the DosBox, you first mount the cd drive like this: (mount d d:\ -t cdrom), then mount c c:\MPS\JETS (after installing the game of course) as usual, then the file loads the cd and you're in for the kill :D. I still have to figure how to make it run better but it works and I'm having fun :D

loved this game, the sound of the jet engine during night missions had a soothing effect on me.

I had this game. My bro and I bought it for an Apple Macintosh Perfoma 450 when it first came out. I loved getting 2 seconds per frame rate. It was so choppy by the time you wanted to do something the target would pass by.

I tried playing this in DOSBox but it runs like ass. :(
Back in the day I had a full Colonel and over 50 missions. So many DFCs and CMHs.

My mug was on the first page of the Pravda more often that I'd like to admit.

Press SHIFT and F1, F2, F3, F4 and gives other camera positions
This was my very first boxed game on the 386! I remember it well, learning to fly an F117 at the tender age of... 9.
