LOS JUGLARES
(María Ostiz)

Hacia el siglo IX surgen los Juglares
Ríos vagabundos claros manantiales
Toscos instrumentos en sus manos tañen
Recorren caminos, pueblos y ciudades
LOS JUGLARES (4)

Dicen los amores a mozas y bellas
Dicen los honores, triunfos y querellas
Cuentan las historias que saben del aire
Sencillas palabras hechos medievales.

LOS JUGLASES (4)

La gente del culto condena su farsa
Burlas de los reyes risas en las damas
Toscos instrumentos en sus manos tañen
Recorren caminos al caer la tarde.

LOS JUGLARES (4)

ENGLISH TRANSLATION

THE MINSTRELS
Around the ninth century the minstrels appeared
Ramblings as a rivers from a clear spring do
Coarse instruments they play
Through paths, villages and cities

The minstrels (4 times)

They tell about love to fair maidens
They tell about honor, triumphs and misfortune
They tell the stories told by the wind
Simple words of medieval dids.

The Minstrels (4)

The clergy condemns their lies
Kings mock at them, ladies laugh
Coarse instrument they play
They tread through paths at nightfall.
