Carpet Installing takes precision and a good deal of physical strength and agility. Installers need to be able to handle large heavy rolls of carpet and padding. They also spend a lot of time kneeling and bending. Entry level job search and internships.

  • Professionals use a power stretcher PERIOD

What's lazy is to NOT take the time to set it up

and do it right. I guess it's difficult to pay $500

for a stretcher when you spend all your money

    on sodas,tobacco, alcohol and....

  • @brenojh When you unable to walk because you used your POWER KNEES Ill still be installing with my power stretcher

  • this video is worthless.

so is the money paid to independent installers.

don't think its your own business when you sub-contract for a floor store.

your not going to make a dime after your expenses as a installer.

---3 to 4 dollars a yard, at 80 -100 yards a day, five days a week, 52 weeks a year, wouldn't even pay for a good benefits package for two people, GET IT.

Get in your local UNION or get out. Its completely worthless.

  • @randyval2 Have fun!

  • @mrsparex lol power stretchers are for people who cant kick .I wouldn't consider power stretching any drop less the 40'

  • It's all about one thing pure cash not knee or power stretchers. If you do a good job the people your fitting for will call you back plus we use both knee & power depends on room size. The guys in the video need to get knee pads for a start

  • @cyganmarek I've been installing vinyl on concrete today. Commode went back smoothly....seam came out perfect!

Regarding your reply...I must admit each passing day I find i know less and less. If I live a few more years...my head will be completely empty.
