I could say the exact opposite;
"Labour were all about clause 4 20 years ago, clearly they still want to nationalise everything."
Oh and for the record David Cameron apologised for Section 28 and stated it was a mistake, I am gay myself and have found no hostility within the Conservative Party, stop living in the 80's.

Why should we change?
You assume that there's something 'wrong' about someone who disagrees with you, which is just a typical statist Labour attitude.
On the other hand, Labour never change, every Government they have ever had has run up public debt, but not managed to create any new infrastructure.
We'll be the last country out of this recession thanks to their spending on Quangos.
