Gigi is a 1958 musical film, music written by Frederick Loewe and lyrics by Alan Jay Lerner. In 1991, Gigi was selected for preservation in the United States National Film Registry by the Library of Congress as being "culturally, historically, or aesthetically significant." The movie starred Leslie Caron, Louis Jourdan and Maurice Chevalier.
The film won the Oscar's 1959 Best Picture Award

@ReadMeReadYou It brings back a lot of memories for me too. I thought Leslie Caron's performance as Gigi was great too. Maurice Chevalier is a favorite too, I remember him too in the movie Love In The Afternoon. He gives that unique touch to every role he plays. I'm glad you liked the video.

I love this movie. Now, I may watch it tomorrow. When I saw this in 1958, most young teenaged girls developed a crush on Louis Jourdan, I had a crush on Maurice Chevalier. I thought he was adorable. I loved him in "Fanny" too. Sorry to go on. You brought back memories with this wonderful video and, of course, the wonderful voice of Vic Damone. Thanks for sharing.
