Pokemon Crystal Cloning Glitch

I saved the game, I deposit 2 Totodiles in my PC, I changed boxes, I reset the game when saving, and Voila! You're done!

@DJLastrapes1 Actually, in emerald version it's basically the same thing but it's a lot easier and you can dupe items too.

Saving like you would normally on a Game Boy don't always work on a PC emulator. This works, even on Crystal. If you don't believe me go search around Google yourself, I got the emulator for my iPod Touch and I was able to do it. It did take me a few tries because I made a few simple mistakes. This works on all second gen Pokemon games, I think it might also work on the first gen but they fixed it in the other generations.

@saie000 you can download a gameboy advanced emulator on your pc called visualboyadvanced. it eventually started woring , you just have to time it right. I had to do it after all the text had appeared. hope that helps

this always used to work for me on the actual gameboy, but trying it on an emulator now and it doesnt, the file saves and updates but the pokemon stays in my roster, and doesnt get cloned :(
