Nice balancing blizz. Why tech up to tier 3 if it's countered so hard by tier 1?

No upgrades on either units.

  • @PigChild5 Well in this case, zealots beat ultra even if they are hit by the full splash. I just didnt know that before making this video.

  • @WoWfan924 Most ground units are decent or good vs ultras. Ghost can snipe them, marines and marauders can kite them, siege tanks can kill them with or without siege if they have the positioning, Thors rape them because thors have range and usually have some meat units ahead of them. Stalkers can do decent vs ultras with blink micro. Colossus can just walk out of range from the ultras. Archons cant die to them (and do really good with new range).

  • he lowered the ultras attack rate even notice on usual ultralisk rush videos and see the difference. You sir lied. Not trying to be mean, but just sayin you lied.

  • @superarbol now tell me,, how is it even possible to micro melee vs melee units? how do u mean?,, now yes ultra wins over zealots in numbers since zealots can barely surround ultras by then,, but i still think ultras damage suck vs zealots

  • @Wungafication as i read ur comment, i agree with u, their HP is fine, their damage is,, well okay atleast vs armored units (35 dmg/0.86 sec) but atleast i agree with u otherwise, ultra does only 15 damage to non-armored units and that itself i think its waaaaaay to low, esp when fighting units like zealots/hydras etc,, their splash radius is fine, they could be slightly faster of creep, but the main issue is their pathing, just horrible, way to clunky! so path and non-armored damage is my issue

  • @superarbol Are you retarded? This video was done without micro on purpose, just to see how many zealots you need to kill 1 ultra..

  • The problem with the ultra has been in my mind admirably fixed with the ultra burrow-charge in HoTS. Suddenly, range and getting the full splash onto a big force with lings doing damage now seems much more possible. I know I'll go ultra/ling/corruptor/muta against toss more in it :D
