This is the HMX-H205 by Samsung. I'll be happy to answer any questions that I did not cover in the video.
The HMX-H205 uses MP4 as its movie format.
This video was recorded with the H205 that I had to return. I used SD 480/60p mode in "super fine" quality to record this.
I had two defective camcorders before I got one that so far seems to be fine. Quality Control is suspect with these camcorders.
I have many video samples from the H205 on YouTube. Visit MyChannel to see them all.
Hi I have a question i'd like to have answerd! :D Are there any focus options on this camera? When i would, for example, close up on a tree branch, could i manually swap between focusing on the branch and it's background? great review. Please answer :D

@sadim31 Yes, there is a manual focus option using the touchscreen. You merely touch the area you want to be the focus point and this does allow you to control the depth of field a bit. It's not quite as easy to accomplish as it sounds, but it is a feature you can use.

Hey I have a problem... In my country there is a Samsung HMX-H200 for 289€ and a Samsung HMX-H220 for 299€, I don't really know what is the difference between them.
Samsung HMX-H200-- there's only written on the top "Smart OIS"

Samsung HMX-220-- there's written on the top "HD BSI Sensor" and "Smart OIS" (Like yours)
(Didn't find and image)
In Samsung's site these cameras have the same characteristics...
Can you help me?

@elfmagicia All I can tell you is that the HMX200 has no internal memory. You need to buy an SD card for it. I have no idea what the HMX220 is. We don't have that in the US that I am aware of.

do u know if this camcorder work's with a mac computer if so then thats cool.

@joseph10704 the software included with the camera is PC only, the movies that the camera produces are compatible with a MAC. They are mp4 files. I use a Mac and it works great for me. You use iMovie, QuickTime or whatever video editing you want. The camera also has rudimentary editing built-in.
