An effective muscle building push pull exercise complex. Back and biceps strength is used for the pull exercises - alt rows. Shoulder and triceps strength is built by the alt military press.

Also, the 10 second isometric hold is used to work on back, grip, and bicep strength.

This is a power development conditioning complex, so only 10 seconds of exercise is used to avoid full fatigue and keep intensity up. Perform 3- 5 rounds.

  • @friendlycleaner thank you for trying it out and posting the feedback!- Joe

  • how do you define conditioning? for the athlete does it boil down to two types? GPP and SPP and doing either can be referred to as "conditioning" because they both improve work capacity?

  • @ArCxlioN conditioning: to train the body to respond a certain way to a stimulus. Yes you are right on, there are both GPP and SPP.

  • @PowerSprinter try grappling :)

  • @PowerSprinter you need it for sports that require upper body endurance like mma and bjj!

  • Looks like a good one. I'm ready for a lower body conditioning break

  • @PowerSprinter Tons of reasons, but here's one: If you train your legs for strength and explosiveness then add conditioning you are over fatiguing a muscle group and CNS that needs rest. Often a reason people have weak legs is because they treat then as a conditioning muscle group (treadmill, stairmaster, etc) and never allow recovery.
