Concept - Written during Pre-Production
This production will explore a day in the life of Jack Choyce. The film is based on specific decisions made that can change the course of the day. The structure of the storyline will be set around three sequential, alternative realities, each depicting a separate outcome in accordance to different variables. Each reality will represent Jacks outlook and preparation for the day while placing emphasis on his mood, body language and expressions. Throughout the day, jack will encounter a number of situations merely calling for a decision to be made. Possible variables of impact may include
the decision to sleep in and be late to school, meeting a girl on the way to school or saving his mate from bullies. In reality, the storyline will be impaired through a cause and effect notion.

  • MMMMMM- overall pretty good. a lot of the transitions ruin your finall product and \draw too much attention to themselves- especially the wipes and scrolls. The colour changes are unessesary and the stroy line needs to be far more compact. Theres no way I would get A+ for this at my school

  • thanks for the feedback.

i felt that the transitions were necessary as they coordinated time. Colour changes highlighted the theme of the film, decisions, by pointing out a decision being made. I followed the criteria closely to ensure it would be hard to deduct marks which resulted in the grade that i received.

  • doesnt the films have to be under 10 minutes good editing tho

  • Film has to be 12 mins or less.

  • great work - you have some awesome camera angles! get a good mark?

  • thanks a lot!

    yeah got an A+
