ok on my pc i did this and i went into dfu mode and idk if i need your firmware or to create and i dfud by mistake and it broke my pc and it wouldnt read my ipod so yahT_T and im on my dads im afraid if i should do it here if i mess up idk what the pc would do

i download firmwire it didn't work. I had officially download my own firmwire from apples. Then I created my own custom firmwire. I am bit confused. Will wifi works?

this is referred to as "bricking"
despite what some people say, unless the hardware is badly damaged, nothing can COMPLETELY stop it from working ever again
if something DID happen though, it might be a bit hard to fix...
a DFU restore works most of the time though

Uh just a heads up you don't need to restore to a factory settings when you jailbreak it already restore to the custom firmwire i dont know why tards restore before hand

When you get to the step where you would create a custom firmware, create one and make sure you uncheck "Use Custom Boot Logo." This will give you the defalt Apple boot logo.
