Good lord, a blast from the past. Used to go around with this lot in Cheadle Hulme. Steve lived on Bray Close with Phil Ellis. Our local was The Kennilworth where we all used to meet up.
Thanks for uploading this one, brought up some great memories.
Wonder what happened to them all? It'd be nice to know.
i'm a bit hazy on the names (def remember ste darragh - though not seen him for years). i remember bumping into (i think) darren and simon (AND YES THEY WERE FROM CHEADLE HULME) in the puss in boots not long after they'd got a deal with EMI/Atlantic or something like that... they were knocking back champagne like mad (cheers for sharing lads ha ha!!) and they'd got a management deal with the guys who ran curiosity killed the cat and T'pow. nothing came from it sadly...
Cant believe I drew the cover of this record on my wall in Chelford - probably papered over by now- was a lifesize version!! Still got the single and miss the queensgate.
pity their manager was an arse..knew all the band ..both versions ..pete was a top guy..steve the singer was a great song writer..still got the original demo tape at home..i did the original cover for the single
