You Were Mine{A Jaylor Story}~Chapter 2

I am SOO sorry for not updating i was really busy with school and friends and last time i tried to update it didnt work and i got made. i hope my readers are still follwing and still read this. again im super sorry please forgive me!

After I got a few songs recorded I was ready for a break. I decided that I needed to call Joe and see how his audition went. I called and it went to his answering machine. I haven’t gotten his answering machine in years basically since we got married! Maybe this is a good sign maybe he is talking to producers! Well I left him a voice mail wishing him good luck again and telling him I love him.

{Joes POV}

When I got to the audition I found out it was a private one. So they gave me my script and I read. It went well I guess. At the end the people watching my audition began whispering to one another.
“Well Mr. Jonas you did well today but we will need to talk with the lead actress and see what she thinks and we will get back with you. You can wait in the office and someone will be in to talk to you shortly.” One of the men told me as they shook my hand. I followed them into an office to wait. I swear I was there waiting forever well it was 1 hour but still. Finally there was a knock on the door. I awkwardly went to the door to open it. You couldn’t believe the shock I endured when I opened the door to see my ex.
“Hello Joseph, long time no see.” She said with a sly grin.
“Hi.” I simply replied while trying to avoid looking at her.
“So you’re auditioning for movies now? I never knew you wanted to be an actor.” She said again cockily.
“Its something I’d like to try.” I answered back cowardly.
“Well I guess if this is something your serious about you can have the part.” She said and I couldn’t tell if it was an evil grin or a true smile. It didn’t matter I was just excited to be employed again. I was so excited I hugged her.
“Thank you Camilla so much! This means so much to me and my family!” I said excitedly. She hugged a little too tight and it got awkward so I let go.
“No problem Joe. I hope your WIFE doesn’t mind you kissing me.” She said with a definite evil grin.
“What are you talking about?” I asked truly confused.
“I am the main female character and you are the main male character. This is a romance movie. We play a couple, Joe. We kiss a lot in the movie.” She explained with her same evil grin.
“Uh is there another part I can have?” I asked sheepishly.
“This is the last part. Take it or leave it. It’s all up to you. But I don’t see you getting too many offers for things now a days.” She said and by now I wanted to wipe the smirk from her face.
“Fine I will take it.” I said as I grabbed my coat ready to leave.
“Start memorizing the script. Filming begins in a few weeks.” She said handing me my script as I walked past her and out the door. I mumbled a thank you and left as quickly as possible. The second I got in the car I relaxed a bit. I took a deep breath and placed the script on the passenger seat. I took out my phone to see I had a voice mail from Taylor. I listened to it and it was adorable just like her. I decided to call her back right away.
“Hey baby! How did it go?” She asked the second she answered. Her happiness made me smile.
“Hey Hun. It went great! I got the lead role!” I told her excitedly.
“Are you kidding me? That’s amazing I’m so happy for you! If I was with you right now I’d give you a huge hug!” She said in her angelic voice.
“I’ll be home soon. Did you pick up the kids yet?” I asked.
“Not yet I wanted a break for a bit I told mom I’d pick them up in a few more hours.” She answered nonchalantly.
“Well maybe I will be home super soon so we can celebrate.” I said with a gigantic grin across my face.
“YES! Hurry!” She yelled into the phone and hung up. As I put my seat belt on and began to drive home I couldn’t think straight. I mean when do I tell Taylor about Cam? How will she react? Well I hope.

As I walked up to the front door I didn’t even have a chance to open it because Taylor was right there waiting for me.
“Hunny!” She said with a huge smile as she hugged me.
“Hey Taylor.” I said back half heartedly.
“Wanna see what I made for our celebration?” She asked still smiling.
“Love to.” I said following her into the kitchen. As I walked into the kitchen I saw a gigantic cake with the words Congratulations Joseph written across it.
“I have been waiting so long to make this for you!” She said as she bent to give me a kiss on the cheek.
“Thank you you’re the best!” I said walking over to the cake.
“I know I try!” She said with a smile that lit up the entire room. How could I feel so low with someone as magical as her?
