Rich Isaacson, one-half of Fuerte Music Group (and responsible for the success of early Loud Records artists like Big Pun, Mobb, Wu, Xzibit, Funk Flex and 36 Mafia) with his partner Jerry Blair (responsible for about every platinum star left on earth - Bruce Springsteen, Mariah Carey, Billy Joel, Destinys Child, The Fugees, Dido, Santana, and Usher), talks here about how replaying samples won't get you around a lawsuit.

thats exactly whats destroying hiphop..greedy artists asking for 100% pub to use a sample. New artists should be thanked by the oldtimers..for bringing they're music back to life!!
Hiphop production is ...sampling! It will never change. Imagine rock without a guitar.
