Our English teacher who was also a musician taught this song to the high school graduates in '87 in Ballesteros, Cagayan, Philippines. It was a very nice rendition...the graduate choir did a fantastic job in which my sister was an alto. I wish now that I had the video of it. Hope I can find it someday, if God permits. The pianist here did a very fantastic job, BRAVO!!!

I love your improvisation! I have heard and played this a million times! The interpretation is superb! And by the way, I am Monserrat Molina-Bejar, the youngest daughter of Antonio J. Molina. Thank you for posting it in Youtube.

Great job!
Love your improvisation. Added a lot of testure without taking it too far away from it's native style.
I also play it just as it's written and would love to learn to play your version.
Is it possible to get a copy of your improvised version?
Thanks

Well done young man. Keep playing. I like the arpeggios. This song used to lull me to sleep when I was 4. Whenever my eldest sister played this on the piano, I always fell asleep listening to it. Thank you for posting this video clip.

There are no lyrics to this work. It is originally for violin. This was transcribed to make it more pianistic from the simple piano version.
