Homemade Slide Board

This is homemade slide board that my 8 year old goalie son uses to practice with in the basement. Cheap to make using a piece of melamine from Home Depot and a 2x4. Bought the pad sleeves online.

No....can't use the skates on this. You would have to get synthetic ice for that.

it helps if you put some Armour All on it once in a while.....really makes it slick.

@SuperSwaggerization Im not sure on how inlines would work on that. but you could if you really wanted to but it might shift a little. I would just get a bunch of dryland flooring tiles for it even though they are a bit more expensive

thanks for sharing this. I might try to make one at home. I am looking to play goalie this season in a starter league and could use the practice off ice. We don't get much play time during the year.
