Nel documentario ci si interroga sulle conseguenze della Dittatura Militare brasiliana (1964-1985), sulla salute mentale delle persone comuni: tanto quelle che all'epoca non militarono attivamente, quanto coloro che sono nati durante o dopo il periodo della dittatura. Si vuole dare voce a un popolo che forse non è solo samba: quanto i 20 anni di dittatura militare sono ancora presenti nel quotidiano delle persone comuni? Un dialogo tra lo spettacolo teatrale di strada "Non è dare che duole. Quello che duole è resistere.", e il pubblico.

The film is an investigation about the after effects of the Brazilian dictatorship (1964-1985) on the common peoples mental health; both of those who weren't involved in the military, and of those who were born during and after the dictatorship years. A search for a different voice than that of Samba. In what way are 20 years of dictatorship in Brazil still present in common peoples everyday life? A dialogue between the street theatre play "It doesnt hurt to give. What hurts is to resist." and the public.
