  • 1:38 weighing his stuff: although trying to show some of Frank's personality, nowadays police carry twice the amount of gear, so his wanting to weigh the things isn't really that strange.

  • Thank you for posting these great old TV shows. I was a little kid when they were on the air. I remember them being on but don't remember any episodes. I remember the music better than the show.

  • I can't help wondering if that close-up on the lips and ears as the dying man talks to Ben Alexander may have influenced a similar shot in the remake of THE MAN WHO KNEW TOO MUCH. The visit to Ellen Corby's home also evokes the visit to Sheriff Chambers in PSYCHO crotchety old man in a robe).
