Jay Rock from Watts and his crew gives back to the community that he came from by giving away whole frozen turkeys and pies to residents of Nickerson Gardens (projects) at his 2nd Annual Thanksgiving Giveaway.

This event was held at the William Nickerson Recreation Center in Watts, California (a community of The City of Los Angeles).

The stuff you see in the US started in the US and will end in US. It's obvious that people who are oppressed, no matter their ancestral culture will eventually rise up over those who oppressed them. Hunger is a simple yet complex problem. I think JayRock is well beyond his years, and may not appreciate it until long after his Rap Career. Color and ethnicity should not be a issue or qualification for feeding yourself and your family. I have seen middle class people go hungry for a while because they felt "out of place" at the St. Vincent DePaul or S.A. Americans need to use the Popularity to help the population.
