@michaeljenovic Michael, what you can't tell very well in that video is that off to my right about 100 yards is the Texas City Dike. In the particular area I was flying, if I had a motor out, I was looking at an approximate 3 mile walkout on a paved access road. I fly my motor so that if I have a motor out, I can safely land. If it leads to a long walkout, then that is the price of enjoying areas others rarely ever see. I explore. So far, my longest walk was hitchhiking after no gas.

It looks like you would have an awfully long walk out of there in the event of an engine out. You must trust your motor a whole lot more than I trust mine.
