those figures don't surprise me. i'd consider myself a liberal in most areas but i think the left has really got this issue wrong. abortions for social reasons are completely unacceptable. i'm british and i'd imagine it's the same both sies of the atlantic. i'd be interested in that link please.

Yeah you are right...what people dont know is that Roe vs Wade took place in texas were abortions was legal to save the womens life...and I dont know why that is pro choices agrument if that how it was pre 1973..why cant they be honest and say "damit we just want the choice to kill our child because we dont want to feel the shame & carry the responsiblity" there are some good looks that WIKI will link you to at the buttom..."abortions in the united states"...YOU ARE A TRUE LEFT!

@jonyrock777 Yeah, I was a dumb unxtain slut who had irresponsible sex WITH protection at 14, so by all means I deserved to end up homeless or in the state wolfhouse living like an animal getting beaten and even RAPED by OTHER TEENS AND CHILDREN, or raising an innocent life in the abusive house I live din, or throwing that innocent life into the same homeless mess or wolfpen I was headed for.

There r plenty of women how have had childrend after refusing to have an abortions & their kids r fine & doing well...look for the ad during the super bowl "Tim Tebow" He is the NVP & champion for college fotball this year & that is cuz his mom decided not to go through the abortion after meeting w/ the doctor & being at the abortions clinic. that whole homeless shit that u said is stupid cuz there is so much help out there. religous organization that will help u w/ the prenancy & provide for u.

For some wierd reason those numbers sound way off. I would like a link please or reference to those percentages. I just got back from Nashville & visited w/ 40 of my friends.This ministry called heart cry ministry. Millionaries donate to this ministry & the money to provide for women who are pregnant & went there after changing their mind about an abortion. The ministry provides for them before & after the child is born..I asked "what do the women have to give" they said "nothing..its all free"

My personal experiences adds to it as a 'wanted' child, and the horror stories you hear about foster parents and the movie white oleander stand for themselves as well.

I mention white oleander because in high school I knew a boy who grew up since birth in a group home and told me it was a lot like the place the girl went to- fighting kids, ect.

Only lots of rape, too.

And that noone cared or noticed.
