Activate Social Change

ACTIVATE SOCIAL CHANGE - Empowering volunteers to fight social fragmentation amongst youth in Europe" is a training course (TC) which focuses on training and empowering volunteers to work together in an international team to organise international youth activities through the Youth in Action programme (YiA). Throughout the training sessions there is a strong focus on implementing measures which help to avoid the obstacles refraining young people which are facing fewer opportunities to take part in YiA activities. After the TC course the participants are expected to become actively involved to organise their own YiA-activities within the framework of Don Bosco Youth-Net ivzw. The TC takes place in a Coruña (Spain) from the 24th of April till the 1st of May 2011.




The TC will bring together 22 participants from 11 EU member states. All participants are volunteers, active on local level catering for young people facing fewer opportunities. Through the training course we want to help them strengthen their competences, so they can create European opportunties for the young people they are catering for.
