Some students at Great Neck North High School are under close scrutiny after they are accused of paying someone to take the SATs for them... to earn higher scores.

Which colleges are these kids trying to get into? There are plenty of good colleges that will let people in on scores as low as 18 on the ACT. I don't understand the obsession with getting into expensive, ivy league schools. Go where you're accepted and to which school that has the program you're look for. I don't sympathize with these kids at all. It's such a ridiculous thing to do, they'll be lucky to get into ANY college now

As Chief Information Officer for the City of San Antonio, Texas Varn assisted with the orchestration of a criminal cover-up of long term public/police corruption, theft and fraud. With the assistance of City Attorney Deborah Klein Varn presented a “fraud upon the court” to conceal long-term criminal activity from the court while defrauding our judicial system and our taxpayers.

Richard J H Varn - Distinguished Presidential Appointee at Educational Testing Service (ETS) – is named in a criminal investigation. City “Councilperson” Diego M Bernal and names of many other prominent City “leaders” are included in documents submitted to the FBI, Justice Department and local law enforcement (including Precinct 3 Bexar County Constable Mark Vojvodich).

i smell scandal from 600 miles away. i'll tell you what, this isn't the first time great neck high has been at the center of a scandal and it sure as hell won't be the last. i'm just glad i got my kids out of there YEARS ago and opted for a home grown, back yard USA home schoolin'. great reporting as always mr. lee.
