This video shows Bill Evans playing with his last regular trio - bassist Marc Johnson and drummer Joe La Barbera nearly a year and a half before his tragic and untimely death.
Live from Iowa. 30th January 1979.

  • @MaximTendu I didn't know that Glenn Gould listened to Bill Evans. Very interesting tidbit you shared there, though it definitely makes sense.

  • He was unhappy during this whole performance because they stuck him with another out of tune piano. A real shame; he was in top form.
