@tintor2 I think they wanted to make clear Kyo suffered a LOT during NESTS experiments. Burning his own headband in his intro and abandoning his high school attire might mean he s grown up but understood that life is not a joke(he was a lot more fierce in the nests saga compared to the orochi saga where he was still a pup). At least i think that's what SNK meant when they created this song and named it tears. Tears of growing up in pain after being really spoiled for countless years.
