Iron Maiden - Running Free Bass Cover

Iron Maiden bass cover of "Running Free"

Equipment:
- Tobias Toby Pro 4-B Bass
- Line 6 Toneport UX2
- Cockos Reaper DAW
- Windows Movie Maker 2010
- T-Racks EQ & Compressor (For boosting bottom end)

Simple enough really, I plugged my bass into the input of the UX2 which is running into Reaper and then I used the T-Racks EQ & Compressor plug in to boost the bottom end of the bass tone. The tone its self is purely what is coming from the Tobias bass I use and if you wanna know a little secret? I just turned everything to full on the bass. Active Pre-Amp on, Full Bass, Full Treble and Full Volume. There you go!

As for the audio mixing, I just mixed the bass ontop of the original song in Ableton and bounced it down as a new 320 KBPS CBR MP3 file so I could mix it with the video.

I recorded the video with the webcam on my laptop (yeah, not great, don't care) then mixed it with the audio track in Windows Movie Maker 2010 (again, not great) but saved it to WMV in 1080p which I doubt youtube will let it stay at.
If you would like a tab for the song, I can make on into a PDF file for you (if anyone asks for a peado file then I'll send my uncle Dennis round, he'll show you meaning of Peadophile)

There are mistakes, but nobodys perfect and I'm not Steve Harris (Even though I so want to be). So if anyone starts ranting on about the mistakes then comments shall be deleted. This is my version of it with my tone!

Very Funny Clicking Sound makes me sick.Though you can play just get a new sound dude thats horrible.Like i said you play good but the sound.Dont know if its the bass or the hardware your using.Try a Sansamp out.If will give you alot more balls then you have here.
