GO Cougs!

It is hard to blame WSU security, they aren't used to crowds over 10K.

as a security person I have worked the last 5 Apple Cups both in Pullman and Seattle, SOmething happens EVERY Apple Cup whether its on coug or husky turf so dont blame it all on the cougs or all on the huskys, both school have had their share of problem causing. Also the police didnt JUST arrest Huskies, I myself got 3 COugars arrested, so huskies...we werent out to get you, we were only doing our jobs and with 29k people its hard for 200 CMS workers to stop everything.

HOW DARE YOU JESUS2524 try and bash these people. They have more honor that you ever will in your entire life. these students were willing to put aside there differences to protect students from the heartless people who have no respect for the game or there school. These Cougar Band students are the heros in the end. They have more honor, respect, and school pride than anyone else in that stadium that day. You are the kind of people who make me sick. You are the lowest of the low. Go ROTT

@JESUS2524 Oh stop trying to be a troll. For goodness sake, they're people too even if they're Huskies. There's no reason we shouldn't have tried to protect them since they were doing the same for us. If you want to go into how their football players hit some of us while running out, that's a whole other story. But if each of our teams are throwing ice at the people who put hours into performances and are always there to support their team even when they lose, something isn't right.

this is the reason i'm a FORMER cougar

How pathetic... I go to WSU and being up in the stands watching these douche bags throw ice pissed me off. I would've liked to see way more crowd control people up in the stands.
As a Husky band member, I would just like to say that a lot of us are incredibly grateful to the Cougar marching band. I personally have a lot of respect for you guys, and I'm glad that we all tried to protect each other despite the rivalry between our schools. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Yeah to all you fans who thought it would be a bright idea to throw ice balls at us, I hope you feel good about yourselves now. You might not have been aiming for us specifically, but we were trying to protect the UW band members and their director from you and a lot of us got hurt in the process. We don't deserve to be injured for trying to protect others, we were just trying to keep civility and prove that not all of us are like the ice ball throwers. Thanks for reinforcing that stereotype.
