I am thrilled that this video surfaced from the Lugano Jazz Festival in Lugano Switzerland in 1986 on tour with Ray Charles. To my surprise we played our set immediately following Mahavishnu John McLaughlin and his band. When I walked into the shared dressing room, there he was. After a brief chat introducing myself, John was on stage with his band and they were astounding. We went on right after his set and in the middle of our set we played this song which had a guitar feature at the beginning of the song. I looked over to my right after my solo and there was John standing at the edge of the stage looking at me and smiling. He screamed, "Go Jeff!". This moment was a fading memory until this video surfaced. Thanks to my friend Hector for sending this to me. I hope you all enjoy it. Thank you for supporting live music and thank you for the souvenir! Jeff Pevar - www.pevar.com

Sir Peev..spectacular. So tasty. I don't have to teach blues guitar anymore. Just tell them to watch this. Come to West Virginia.

Awesome Jeff, You and Johnny M. are both my guitar heroes. There will of course never be another Ray or another Mahavishnu John Mclaughlin. But will there never be another Jeff Pevar either. You are one in a million my friend, an inspiration for all.

I also enjoyed your session with Elliot, which then led me to this channel.
