Prime Minister Julia Gillard says she is concerned about the damage done by poker machines and will bring in legislation to tackle it. But she's again declined to state where she stands on mandatory pre-commitment technology, which she promised to Independent MP Andrew Wilkie in 2010 in return for his support for her minority government.

  • @baysidelad1 What's she exactly lied about on this issue? The only change is that the reform approach will be to Labor's timetable and views on how it should be done, not Wilkie's.

  • @baysidelad1 I had a good giggle...thanks for that....you do realise the speaker is not a libs "bloke" he revoked his membership of your conservative party and is now an independent

  • Another day, another lie by Gillard....if the Libs can get their bloke to drop the speakers role, we can get rid of this deceitful Govt. Which begs the question, if their wasn't a change of speakers, would Gillard have backed the poikes reform? Of course she would have, she'll do ANYTHING to stay in Govt
