BSL (Breed Specific Legislation) is a horrible reality for many - let's end it now before more innocent dogs are taken from their families and killed!!

It sucks for those dogs...but guys come on ! did you know that even if you have them scence they were babies when they grow up and could kill you..Try entering the back of the door in the middle of the night. Pitbulls dont really get the smell of humans And they dont really see at night ! so most likely its ganna kill you.

I love pitbulls i had one when i was 3 years old he was a babie and when he grew up i went outside to pet him and he jumped on me and made a huge scar!! :(

As of 2011, did something change about BSL in the US? I watched the video and I've had tears in my eyes.

Could someone please,explain it to me:What happens if you take a pitt bull from a shelter in your area?

Do they(I don't know how to call them) get into your house, take your dog,and put him/her down in some public shelter?

Is there ANYTHING the owners can do to avoid this horrible precedure? Or are they helpless against the goverment and the so called "law"?

@MsSexyladyinred If you are in a BSL area, or if you go on vacation and your dog is in YOUR car and you drive thru a BSL area and are sopped they can seize and uthanise your dog.....total BS!

thank you for mak'g such a beautiful, touching & uplifting video about pits! Im choked up w/tears~I know what it is like 2 hav some1 mak'g decisions as 2 whether one can have a pet or not! The managers tried to take away my precious cat. We loved each other so deeply that when I had 2 hide her for a week I culd tell she thot I was abandon'g n betraying he~OMG RIPPED OUT MY HEART! BSL=BULLSHIT LEGISLATION!!!~Is there a petition I could sign? I hope ppl can shoot that down! thanks 4 let'g us know!

beautiful pitts man. ive really wanted one for a while but since im in the army they wont let u have one on or around the base, and almost all apartments or rental companies wont let u have them either but i did end up with a gorgeous beagle though

Unfortunately, one dog couldn't be rehabilitated, and they had to euthanize her. She was an old black unnamed female that was bred so much and so often that she literally went insane and lashed out at everybody. The rescuer's main regret, they said, was that they never gave her a name. But seriously, out of ALL those dogs, she was the only one! Pit bulls are awesome.

If someone came to my house and tried to take my dog away to euthanize her, I'd go on a killing spree. No one takes my dog away. She doesn't even bite her own TOYS. How is that even dangerous?!

When I was younger a man broke into my house when me and my sister were home during the summer vacation and was about to attack us when my two pitbulls stopped him. They didnt kill him but they did attack him, BUT ONLY to save my sister and I. They were put down for being too aggressive nearly 1 week after. :'(

I should mention as a disclaimer to kids... don't ever touch injured dogs. Was very stupid of me, but was very frustrated with the slowness of the police. Don't think the dog liked them.

I couldn't imagine my dog being taken away from me and I think we should all stand up for our dogs and GET RID OF BSL! Please sign the petition everyone and save harmless dogs from being killed because of what irresponsible humans make them do!
