The Republicans are all so mad are they? You just can't imagine people being happy. you think everyone is as negative as you. You stated that all Republicans want to do is fight, and argue, and that everything is a battle. The only person I see fitting these characteristics is you. @j0hnwi11iams A reasonable "coherent policy" that is espoused from the Tea Party movement is Cut, Cap, and Balance. Capping the size of government, Passing a balanced budget amendment, and Reforming entitlements for the 21st century.

Healthcare victory? It was a private sector solution, not a single payer system. Insurance companies are the biggest winners. The middle class got squeezed the most in the deal.

If you place more balance into your perspective, you will finder greater truth.

@xlr8r2010 Obama will likely win in 2012. Which isn't all that surprising, because his national policies are very much like those of Bush, and of Clinton as well.

Apart from the sort of noises they make to their radical fringes, there isn't much to differentiate between the respective parties. Who wins the next presidential election is likely to have the same political impact on the direction of this country as which team wins the next Super Bowl. We're all going to get ripped off either way.
