READ THIS: For best audio quality watch the video in 720p
360p seems to cut off the bass frequencies and changes the listening experience, aside from adding in some horrible low quality sounds it's not how I intended it to be heard.
The first mix in the video is my more conventional sounding mix, the placement of the instruments is as follows:
Drums - Center
Snare Overdubs (With added reverb) - Right
Bass - Center
Piano - Left
Guitar - Mostly right, some of the guitar parts are on the Piano track and I couldn't separate them.
Vocals - Mostly Centered but some parts are panned in different ways.
There are some extra dog barks and such panned all over the place.
I did manage to separate the drums from the piano so they could be panned separately.
I would appreciate some feedback on this as I'm not completely finished mixing it yet. I will probably release another mix once I'm more satisfied with it.
I did this in the same way as the Abbey Road Medley Mix and the I Want You mix by using the Multitracks except this was a lot easier as it's just the one song not 9. I spent a few days doing this and the mix in this video is RS5 (Remix Stereo 5) Any future remixes I make will either be linked here or linked on the next mix of Hey Bulldog I upload, they will be RS6 and up.
A lot of work goes into these mixes and once I have an albums worth of mixes I will release a free bootleg album. Probably something along the lines of the "Abbey Road session mixes" or the "Pepper session mixes"
If hearing the Beatles music mixed (in my opinion, better) is something you enjoy you may want to buy a copy of the Yellow Submarine Songtrack which includes many more conventional stereo mixes of other Beatles songs. Although this is, in my opinion, poorly done as there are some out of sync vocals and on Hey Bulldog even though the drums and piano are locked on one track I think they should have been centered instead of being panned far left (I fixed this! yay!!). It is non the less a good shot at remixing some of the Beatles catalogue.

Do you have ears?! The original is much better!

it's not meant to sound better, it's just meant to be panned more conventionally. You know drums and bass in the center etc. In separating out the instruments, the piano and drums were on the same track, they lost some of their shine so of course it's not going to sound how it should. if you can get me access to the actual Tapes then i could do a much better job. The Abbey Road medley stereo mix I've done doesn't have any separation all the instruments sound how them should.

@sgtelzilcho So ok, why did you that?

Because I'm studying Music Production and wanted to make a more up to date mix, like the Yellow Submarine songtrack, for the most part that sounds great I mean it's even got a proper stereo mix of It's Only A Northern Song, it was only for practice and if you'd bothered to read the description you would have known that this isn't even the finished mix. some constructive criticism would have been nice, like "the bass is a bit loud" or something

Great job! You made it even punchier and the bass really gets the attention it deserves. Thanks. I found this through your Abbey Road medley, which I started listening to without first reading that it was a remix. I was thinnking, "Damn, EMI did a better job on these remasters than I thought!"

@vormax2007
thanks :)
the remasters are good but I wish EMI or Apple would actually make new mixes, the songs are great but the 60's mixes don't let them stand up how they should today, specifically their earlier stuff once they moved from 4 track to 8 track the mixes got a lot better. From what I've read the original 4 track tape of the Orchestra for A Day In The Life still exists so they could use that to mix the orchestra into stereo. They need to make new stuff instead of repackaging the old
