I wish the players like Nash, Nowitski, Dwight Howard, and Jason Kidd could all get on the same team together and win a championship. These guys are tremendous role models and really love the game and deserve a championship. They aren't a bunch of arrogant show boaters like kobe, lebron, or shaq. Unfortunately, the nba is rigged beyond belief and has its favorites...(kobe, lebron, wade, shaq, duncan..etc.)

@viperdawg41192 I'm a huge Jason Kidd fan, but to say he's a role model? You do know the guy beat his wife on at least one occasion right? What kind of message is that? Also ALL of those guys you mentioned love the game, not a kobe fan, but to say that he doesn't love the game is stupid. In fact, I would say kobe out of all of those guys loves and understands the game the most. Also Duncan is a great role model and loves the game a lot, he won his rings through hard work and passion.

i've played basketball for 20 years and i still don't understand why the following counts as a assist...

Nash pass the ball to Diaw/Marion/Stoudamire...etc. near the 3 point line.

they crossover dribble to get pass a defender, go to the hole and score.

@602Killuminati Actually before this ERA of basketball assists were what you thought it was in this ERA. Pass to player and they have to shoot or else it won't count as one. In this ERA for some reason they count it even if they took a few dribbles. So the definition of ''assist'' varies in the different ERA's of basketball.
