CLICK THE THUMBS UP IF YOU LOVE GOOD FOOD!

And thanks for subbing, kids. We love ya!

This easy to make, waistline enhancing sandwich is a must-try at home! It's amazing SIMPLE it was to make this much deliciousness!
Check the recipe:

Batter:
1 3/4 cups + 2 tbsp water
1 3/4 cups flour
1 egg
1 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt

Sandwich:
2 thick-sliced white bread
1-2 slices ham
1-2 slices turkey
1-2 slices swiss cheese

Blend all batter ingredients well. Assemble sandwich and cut diagonally (you can use toothpicks to help hold them together). Dip sandwich in batter, and allow excess to drip. Deep-fry sandwich in Canola oil at 365 degrees, about 1 1/2 minutes per side or until golden brown. Remove from oil and allow to drain and cool on paper towels for a couple of minutes. Remove toothpicks, cut in half, sprinkle with powdered sugar, and serve with blackberry preserves

  • I know what I'm making for dinner!

  • @AMouseAndADream

I added vanilla extract, black pepper and milk instead of water. I also did not deep fry it but made it like a french toast with Italian bread, cheddar and mozzarella cheese with ham and turkey. I put a pile of plates to flatten(will be purchasing a paninni press). Sprinkled with powdered sugar and dipped in strawberry preserves. I got some cranberry sauce for the turkey ones but did not use it, kids wanted the strawberry. They were delish cant do deep fried LOL

  • @lavvy2585 Very nice! What'd you do differently with the batter?

  • You want a kiss too?

LOL...For you maybe, look how slender you are. I am short and slightly stout not fat but muscular and I cant chance it but I sure like watching you eat it.

  • @lavvy2585 I still recommend it as an occasional treat.. I usually have it 1-2 times per year, totally worth the calories :-).
