i think your over complicating it dude
i watched the music video kinda looks like he's sliding up from the fifth fret on the E string to the twelfth and hammer on to fifteenth. then the third fret on the A string then open A twice back the third. and repeat

I really like your method of teaching and your energy BUT, in all of the videos I've watched, your bass volume is very low compared to your voice.
Hard to really hear what you are playing.
**Could you please turn the bass UP for future videos?
**Also I agree with the other comment, it would be great if you would play the riffs all the way through first and then break it down.
