Tish*yells from downstairs*: Miley! Rides here
Miley *yells from upstairs*: ok mommy!
I slid my purse onto my shoulder and my feet into gold flats. I took the stairs two at a time down and grabbed my lunch from the kitchen counter. I appeared at the front door where my mom was talking to Mitch.
Tish: you are so cute!
Mitchel: *laughs* thank you Mrs. Cyrus
Miley: stop flirting mom *kisses her cheek* lets go!
Tish: have a good day you two! *closes the front door*
My mom smiled and shut the door behind us leaving us all alone. My car was in the shop, hit and run from some idiots down the street. I would have walked to school but it was FREEZING. Mother Nature must have been high lately because it keeps going back from hot to cold and so forth. It was actually kind of annoying.
Mitchel: driving Nick too. Joe took the car.
Miley: ok. Ill knock on his door, you just wait in the car.
Mitchel: you sure?
I nodded and walked towards The Jonas door. I knocked once and Kevin opened the door to great me.
Kevin: Hey!
Miley: Hey!
We hugged and I saw Nick pick up his backpack from his kitchen.
Miley: I thought you were in college?
Kevin: UCLA. No classes today!
Miley: fun
Nick passed right by me and towards Mitchels car without even a glance or recognition.
Miley: I guess I should go *throws her thumbs back towards the car*
Kevin said bye and soon we were pulling out of Nicks driveway. Mitchel drove with one hand on the wheel, the other holding mine. Nick sat in the backseat and I couldnt help but look in in the mirror at him. He looked so pissed off lately. I mean, I just came here and I thought I saw his true colors. I guess it was all just an act. Nick caught my eye in the mirror and I quickly darted my eyes towards the window, my face heating. Mitchel parked the car and we all got out. Mitchel and I clasped hands again and Nick rolled his eyes. One girl, that I had barely recognized from my classes ran up. All I remembered was her btichy attitude.
Allison: hey Mitchel!
She ran from behind us and broke our holding hands by coming between us.
Mitchel: hey
Allison: come here often sexy?
Mitchel smiled and was about to comment back when I interrupted.
Miley: Dont you have a boyfriend? Cody?
Allison: No dip Sherlock
Miley: then maybe you should go hit on him
Allison: do I see jealousy? Yes I do. And Mitchels single so *pushes Miley* back off
I glared at her then walked away. Oh great Mitchel, just continue standing there talking to her.
Nick *runs up to her*: hey
I continued walking not looking back. He gave me the cold shoulder- he can get one back.
Nick: Miley, wait up *catches up to her and walks at her pace* you ok?
Miley: m fine
I opened my locker and took out my chorus folder and my trusty pen then slammed my locker shut. I tried to walk away but Nick pinned me against the lockers gently.
Nick: Miley
Miley: what!
Nick: uh um *lets go of her and backs up scratching his head* did we have chorus homework?
I was a bit confused at his movement and looked around. No one noticed or bothered to care so what was he doing?
Miley: nope
Nick: ok thanks
I watched him walk away confused out of my mind. I turned around and became face to face with Joe, like 1 cm apart.
Miley: WHOA!
Joe: *laughing* I scared you
Miley: *hits his arm* not-uh!
Joe: so what were you doing staring at my brother?
