Of course. The mid-term elections were basically a referendum on the Iraq war. It was a landslide "no" from the people. Yet Bush proposes and increase and the new elected officials only want to stop the increase, not the war, as they were elected to.

More and more am I realizing that seems to be the case. First with Pelosi stating that "Impeachment is off the table" Then the John Warner Defense Authorization, and Military Commissions Act both pass without a hitch. Its becoming apparent that they are 2 sides of the same team. One plays defense and the other plays offense..
