  • Watch for predator drones soon over Utah....

  • I'm moving to Utah, lol

  • The State of Utah, and other States of the Union, that wish to pass laws; under the Constitution, declaring gold and silver coin as a legal tender; their legislators would probably want want to read the following, "The United States government does not have the power to make its obligations a legal tender" (online). Its author, Dan Goodman shows that McCulloch v. Maryland was wrongly decided, that the concept of implied powers does not exist in the Constitution. That the Tenth Amendment applies.

  • This is a good start. What if the elites ran an economy & nobodyshowed up? Trade amonst yourselves people with gold/silver/copper/goods/services etc. Utah simply recognizes what the Sioux nations also recognize: The dollar is a paper ponzi scheme that will inevitable collapse as all fiat currencies have done in history. They are getting a jump on providing an alternative means for their citizens to continue with their economic lives when that happens. That is what responsible leaders do.

  • @MrRontree there's nothing though that says people have to accept the us dollar. in south carolina theres some places that only accept silver and a lady was refused an ipad cuz they said, "sorry we do not accept cash." if it's the best thing then people'll gravitate towards it over time, and i definitely believe it's the best thing so I'm still very happy about this

  • since the bill does not require people to accept gold and silver as payment for goods and services it is symbolic only. it fails to meet the definition of legal tender. i was very excited about this untill i read the bill. symbolic law demishes law.

  • All it takes is one and the rest will follow! Way to go UTAH!

  • It's about time somebody has enough courage stand up against these banksters.

  • The Silver Bullet strikes again !!

  • Yeah, Utah would do that.
