dont get me wrong i did not either but as i walked the hallway i stopped here and there and red some parts this particullar clue is (about) thirth screen from the "den"

I could never read it all. Walking the whole way was horrible.

as with most of the stuff in "hall of Neverhood" its game clue.... developers essencially included game guide in the game o.o and ton of stuff about its developement and "history" XD
its real pain in the ass to get the sotry chip on the last screen of the hall.... unless OFC you intend to read thro all that text (i never got past 5th screen)
