Aan de rand van het bos Eperlecques staat een gigantisch blockhaus. Sedert 1945 is dit uniek spoor uit de tweede wereldoorlog er bewaard in zijn oorspronkelijke staat.

Went there yeasterday, I was expecting something big, but when I rounded the corner and it came into view, my mouth dropped open at the monster proportions. What an amazing site, it gave me a real feel of the evil that was behind it all.
Have also seen the real thing, really worth visiting. Makes you think about how dedicated those germans were about there quest to destroy all the allies and especially Great Britain with their massive V2 rockets

ik was daar geweest. en het is echt heel groot! ik en mijn 2 vriendinnen werden echt helemaal stil toen we er waren. het raakt je echt

Deze bunker ligt in Eperlecques,zo'n 7KM
van St-Omer,moest je hem ooit willen bezoeken neem dan ineens ook La Coupole te Wizernes bij,deze ligt als ik me niet vergis op de baan naar St-Omer,
Blockhaus heb je rond in 9minuten,dus als je toch van zover komt neem je de andere bunker te wizernes ook mee,ze zijn beide het bezoeken waard,
ook kan je in Blockhaus Combi-tickets verkrijgen voor beide bunkers aan een hee mooie korting.

Yes you caqn go inside, it is cold and dark. There is also a area where they put on films and slide shows.
