I have doubt. As per my knowledge ' Vamsavruksham ' is a telugu movie directed by Bapu( Late.Mullapudi says Bapu introduced Anil kapoor's with this film ). Is there another movie directed by Maniratnam with the same name? Just curious to know :)

This song was first composed for a Telugu and Tamil movie. But that movie got stopped for few production issues. Then Maniratham requested ilayraaja sir this for "Vamsavruksham". But unfortunately ilayraja sir has already added this tune for Kannada movie "Pallavi anupallavi". Then again it has been added in "Vamsavruksham".

this song is from kannada movie NOT TELGU movie. !!!!! movie name is Pallavi anupallavi. however this song is dubbed to telgu!!!

Idea music was copyright protected, was asked for a good tune as per Idea CEO. They found of contacting Shankar Ehsan Loy who used give jingles for many adds close up, britannia etc. At last Ehsan Loy showed this beautiful theme composed by illayaraja where further bared, purchased as copyrights.
