Gene Siskel at his best.
And yeah, Lost in America is the greatest comedy ever.
Siskel and Ebert both rule.

@DanielTheWalrus OK well to be fair the funniest scene imo was when Hackett returns to the diner after being chased by a mob for a good twenty minutes. Earlier Hackett was at the diner all stressed out orders a meal from the waiter but suddenly leaves so he comes back (after a long hiatus) and here's the waiter now bringing Hackett his meal order as if he didn't forget. I literally laughed my ass off.

@blinkzone1 You're crazy than, cuz After Hours is one of the best films EVER made!

I liked After Hours but I wouldn't put it as one of the year's best films.

is ebert male or female?
-
...Mad Max 3 was brilliant

I disagree with Siskel about After Hours. Cheech & Chong were definitely lighter characters, but Teri Garr wasn't really, and Catherine O'Hara played an absolutely horrible character. That part where she's distracting him as he tries to dial the phone has to be one of the most infuriating scenes I've ever watched in a movie.

Star Wars sucks.

@cinemavirtualis wtf?? Coming to America is HILARIOUS. Fuck what the critics say--you have no soul if you can't laugh at that movie.
After Hours is classic. My favorite of 85.
