@jadieboo19 regardless of what you want to call it, it's a breathing problem. Our pug does it after he climbs stairs, or goes for a run. He has fits like that about 10 times an hour, and at least twice in the middle of the night. It's annoying, because they can last about 5 minutes straight!

actually no he's not having trouble breathing. yes it is a reverse sneeze, and if he does it again just grab some water in your hand a nd rub it on his nose. trust me in works!!

Our Pug does the same thing sometimes. Scared the heck out of me when I first heard it.

what i do with my puggle is talk to them... they tend to do this when they get to excited. And its NOT a reverse sneeze! they do this because of the pug in them. because the pug has a flat nose they have some trouble breathing. but talk to them tell them to calm down or rub there nose! again this is NOT A REVERSE SNEEZE OR A JOKE!

we have puggles too. Check them out. You'll love them . Type in "The puggle movie" and you'll find them.

This is called a reverse sneeze, rub his throat it will help. My puggle does it once in awhile nothing to be alarmed at!
exactly what I was looking for! My dog was having the exact same breathing problem, and I would like to know what can be done, is it really just calming her down + rub water on its nose?
