PLEASE READ =] Okay so at first i honestly did not like any of the presidential candidates...I thought that President elect obama was full of empty promises and then i realized I was just being a pessimist. I don't have any reason not to believe him but yet I automatically decided that all he was saying was to good to be true. I was being RIDICULOUS. If president elect Obama has this goal for peace then the least we can all do is give him the benefit of the doubt...blind faith can be hard but its worth a shot if peace will be the reward. So everyone who watches this ill ask you to consider the fact that although you may not have voted for him, as he said in his speech, Obama is your president too. If Obama stands for peace then why are our troops not home like he promised? He is doubling our troops in Afghanistan as you read this... You call that an effort for peace? I guess we will have peace when we stop electing democrats and republicans. Nothing has changed if you look past the rhetoric.

Obama is sending 17,000 troops to Afghanistan. So tell me this... Do you Obama supporters who have peace sign stickers on your cars think that civilians (women, children etc.) killed in our occupations care if a Democrat or Republican is in office? Then why do you? If you want "change" your trust is misplaced. Write Obama, and tell him that you read The Constitution (hint) and did not find Anything about imposing martial law on the WORLD, and BANKRUPTING US!!!
