not helpful, at all, because, well, u explained it for windows xp, i have vista and the sound setup is different, gonna have to search for that stuff

This does not appear to wotk if you have a USB Headset/mic? ie Logitech G35

this is the same method I used to get stereo mix except im mine it said mute instead of select
oh and my card is also a realtek
